Like a goddamn Phoenix!

Well, after more than a week full of no sleep, loud and terrible dubstep, stoop-sitting, desert wandering, heavy drinking, shirtcocking, wild encounters with illicit drugs and their users, crazy costumes, and just generally way too much fun, we have returned in one piece, and we have the pictures to prove it! We just barely made it! But instead of leaving our gorgeous corpses out there in the no man's land of the awful state of Nevada, we were reborn into the dust and came home with two brand new songs and a whole bunch of surreal memories that we will continue to question the reality of for the rest of our god-forsaken lives. Overall, it's pretty safe to say that none of us have ever had more fun! Here is the proof:

Wild Desert Romp, et cetera

In just a matter of hours the moon landing is going to hit burning man! That's right folks, we're heading out to get our festival on! There will be plenty of pictures and videos to be seen upon our return, and you will find them right here! I should not even be writing this. I should be packing and buying water. I have things to do! Important things!! So check it out, if you're heading to the desert as well, come find us at Laughing Monkey camp (9:30 and Baghdad), if not, we'll see you when we're dust covered, exhausted, and in the throes of the worst hangovers of our lives.

The Moonlanding of Our Generation just returned from landing in a forest near Covelo, CA last weekend. We spent the weekend on a good ol' artist's retreat: writing songs, singing songs, playing shows, cooking from the garden, sleeping under the starts, swimming in the river and checking out the view.

We saw deer and rattlesnakes, ate blackberries and buffalo, drank grapefruit juice and tequila, and watched meteors and lightning. Shows in Covelo were great fun and we are all geared up for our Fall Tour. See you out there!
